Hey guys I just finished a new poetry book! It is "Pillow Thoughts" by Courtney Pepppernell. It has been very popular with young adults and I use to see poems and quotes from this book all over the internet. I decided to hop on the train and pick up a copy for myself and see what all the fuss is about.

First of all, I love the cover of this book and the way it is organized. It has a jelly fish on the cover and the poems are split into sections based on what they are about. For example, "If you need a reason to stay" or "If you need encouragement." Super cute! They were accompanied by uniquely drawn jellyfish that related to each section title. It was quite adorable.

As for the content of the book itself it was just as good. Each poem hits a different part of yourself. It makes you think deeper. I love how you can pick up the book, go to the section you relate to and find something that works for you and how you're feeling in that moment. It is beautifully written with so much love and hard work. I really appreciate this type of writing because I would love to have a book of my own similar to this one day.

I'm very happy to recommend this fabulous book to all you readers. It is for all ages and all feelings. I loved it, definitely one of the better poetry books of the ones I've read. It has been the book that has inspired me to write again, so maybe after you read it, it can inspire you in some way. :)

Favorite Poems, I had a lot, but I'll share a few:

HEY Y'ALL I FINISHED A BOOK. I have been so busy with school, I felt like I had no time to read. So, finally I have completed a book... actually it was 2 in one, so I guess I finished 2 books. One is a classic that you all have probably heard of and the second one is the sequel that has come out 25 years later!

The books are "Hocus Pocus" and "Hocus Pocus: The Sequel" by A.W. Jantha! I started reading these before Halloween and wanted to finish before Halloween was over, but I failed. However, I still finished them and it didn't make them any less enjoyable. I will say that these books are made for a younger demographic then me, but I was more interested in the story, then how it was written.

I was curious about these books because Hocus Pocus is a classic Halloween movies and it is one of my favorites and I, as a reader, was shocked to find it was a book and that I had never read it. Also, the cover of this particular copy I picked up also had the sequel in the same book! It was a no brainer. I read the original hocus pocus and it was like watching the movie, almost identical, it was fabulous! Then I started reading the sequel. This is what I'll be doing most of the review on.

The sequel was set on Halloween night in 2018, 25 years later after Max lit the black candle. Max and Alison are married and have a child. Her name is Poppy and she is the same age as Max was in the original book. She has a friend named Travis and has a crush on a girl named Isabella, who becomes their friend. Yes, you heard right, the love story was between two females! I love that they are so progressive and showing a female relationship like this, especially in a younger aged book. Then, the Dennisons throw a Halloween party and the 3 of them end up going to the Sandersons house with a Oujia board on the night of the blood moon and halloween. Spooky right? Well, low and behold, the Sanderson sister get brought back to live and trade lives with Max, Alison, and Aunt Dani. Now it is up to them to save them and destroy the bloodmoon stone before the witches use it to live forever.

The story has the same concept, but it has a different twist on everything. It is nice because of how similar the overall idea is. It was nice to not just read a similar book, it had many differences that made it feel like a whole new story. I really liked how they brought the story into 2018. For example, the witches tried to navigate an Iphone, which was pretty funny. Also, all the titles had a pun and cleverness to them. One of the titles was "Squad Ghouls" and that cracked me up.

Overall, they are both great books. Like I said they are more written for younger kids, but If you're like me and grew up watching Hocus Pocus, it was fun to read and reminisce. I definitely recommend this as a book. It was fun to know what happened after the movie.

Favorite Character: I mean how can I not pick Poppy? She has spunk, comedy, and loyalty. She was creative and kind-hearted. I mean what a lovely character.

Favorite Quotes: "Sometimes the world isn't as simple as we'd like it to be."

Yes, 2 posts right in a row because I'm late writing reviews on books I've already read. This book is a great one, "A Week of Mondays" by Jessica Brody. This book is a thick one, it was over 450 pages, but I read it in 2 days. I sat down two separate occasions and speed through this book.

This book is just what the title implies. The main character, Ellie, goes through an average Monday where she has to do a speech for the new class elections, try out for softball, and have the perfect night at the fair with her boyfriend, Tristan. Then the day goes wrong and at the end of the night she wishes she had a chance to do it all over again. Well, what do you know? The universe answers her and lets her relive the same Monday over and over again for well a week. Will she finally learn the way to get it right? Read to find out ;)

This book was incredible. Like I said I read this book in 2 days. Even though the story seems unoriginal, the characters make this story stand out. Also, the way that is written is very relatable, interesting, and quite hilarious. There was one of the Mondays where Ellie, the main character, decided to be a rebel and change everything up. The more I read, the more I said out loud "omg she is off her rocker." I felt like I was in the story and able to witness these stories and days first hand. You would think that having a novel based around the same events would be boring, but it was the exact opposite. It was always interesting and kept me entertained. I love this book. I'm not going to go to much into detail because that would give it away and be major spoiler alert for you, the readers. PLEASE GO READ IT.

Favorite Characters: Ellie because she reminds me of myself in so many ways. Wanting things to go right, trying to fulfill other's expectations of you, and being indecisive. She doesn't know what she is doing wrong and has obstacles everyday and the way she keeps it together (barely) is amazing.

Favorite Quotes: "I'm so tired of crying. I'm so tired of losing. I'm just so tired."

Hey guys this book I finished a couple week ago just didn't have time to write about it. It is by the one and only Gabbie Hanna aka TheGabbieShow, "Adultolescence."

This book is a vulnerable, heart breaking, truth-telling, book of poetry. When I first heard of Gabbie, it was when she was popular on Vine (rip), but she made me laugh and I followed her on Vine. Eventually Vine died and most of the viners moved to Youtube, including Gabbie. Honestly, I didn't follow her through her transition. Who she was back then was not someone I found real. I liked her humor, but her life seemed unrealistic in some way. She always had crazy stories about love and ghosts and it seemed repetitive. Eventually, I started noticing her more on social media even without searching for her. I started following her on instagram, twitter, and watching her videos. I learned to love her.

She isn't just a youtuber who tells stories and complains occasionally, she shares her emotions and who she is with others. The more real she became the more she related to others and it made me like her more. She then came out with "Out Loud" an amazing song that hit number on the charts. I played that shit on replay for days. Then she came out "satellite" and kept her music career alive. Then recently she came out with "Honestly" and "Honestly (encore)" which are literally bops of the century. HOLY COW. She is a musical genius and not only was she doing all of this she happened to write a book.

This book of poetry had to hit me the hardest of them all. Some of the poems she had in here made me stop and think about life for hours. The shortest statements could fill my brain with a billion thoughts. It was amazing on how much her writing I could relate to and be like, "I've been there." Those are my favorite moments in reading, when something in a novel hits home and it just shows you how your feelings are valid and that you were never really alone.

Gabbie, this book was incredible. Your bravery and vulnerability is inspiring to artists and writers who are in my shoes feel like they can do it too. Thank you for making this work of art.

For anyone in the mood for a good book of poems turn right here. You won't regret it I promise <3

Hey guys this book review is for a book I read in 2 days it was that good and entertaining. It is called "By Your Side" by Kasie West. It is a really quick read and that is why it only took me 2 days.

This book was such a cute, light-hearted book. However, it had some plot twists. It is about the character Autumn who gets stuck in the library over a holiday weekend and finds out she isn't alone. Dax, the bad boy with a reputation, is also there. The book summary makes it seem that the whole story takes place during this long weekend in the library, but it goes deeper than that. SPOILER ALERT... They get out and then the story goes deeper into the relationship Autumn has with another boy that she liked before she met Dax. Who does she go for? The relationships in each guy get more deep and more complicated as life goes on.

I loved this book. Even though the dialogue and language was a little too easy and sometimes cheesy, those are my favorites. The story is perfect and the type of things you wish would happen to you. A scene that I loved is when the 2 of them are stuck in the library and they find a deck of cards to play with. Autumn forces Dax to play poker with her and they end up playing for secrets instead of betting money. I thought it was a good way to show their personalities and find out new things about the characters. I also liked when they were competitive with each other the whole time and how quickly they became comfortable with each other's company.

You should really read this book. Like I said, it is a quick and easy read. It isn't hard to understand and the story keeps you interested the whole time. I commend Kasie West for the way she told this story, because it could have been boring or too cheesy. However, it was just my style and the perfect amount of cheesy.

Favorite Character: Autumn because I related to her the most. The way the character is written in the story makes her relatable and a real human person not a character in a novel. She is sassy, funny, smart, and independent. Also, a really important part of this character is she has an anxiety disorder. This aspect of her was intertwined in the book a lot and I like how mental health was brought into light. It helps people understand and visualize what it is like to deal with anxiety. It is so important to shed light on mental health in a way that makes it real.

Favorite Quotes: "No, but I just mean the act of falling in love. Shouldn't it be easy?"
"Yes. It definitely shouldn't be scripted."
"Exactly. It's not something you should have to analyze over and over again. If it's right, you should know."

Today I have another book review for you! It is "Make your mind up" by Bethany Mota. Bethany is a internet personality that started out on Youtube making videos about beauty and make-up. She now has grown up into an awesome role model that has created her own clothing line at Aeropostle, gained over 10 million subscribers, and wrote a book!

I would say that this book is a mixture of different things. It goes into details and stories about her and her life and struggles. Then she has tips and tricks in fashion and beauty. She also includes recipes for her favorite healthy foods. This made her book unique compared to other memoirs I've read. It wasn't just about stories, it had pro tips and lifestyle hacks and ideas to help you in your everyday life.

This book was so aesthetically pleasing and beautifully put together, though I wasn't surprised. It was Bethany of course it was gonna be beautiful. She divided each chapter into categories, which was a fun way to organize. It made it a book you could read in any order you want. You could read chapter 5 on beauty before reading chapter 2 on food. (Those are not exact chapters). I loved that as a fan she made it personal and related everyday things to her life, which made me feel closer to her and she seemed more relatable. As for people who don't know her through her videos it still is a great read for young people to learn who they are and learn fun hacks and tips for their own lives.

Overall, I really liked her book. It was fun and youthful, just like Bethany is. It is also quite fun to read a book by a person you have met! I met Bethany in 2013 at her Aeropostle tour and it was so much fun. My friends and I got up super early to get in line in the freezing cold to wait in line to meet her. In the end it was all worth it. She is super sweet and you can tell she cares. Love ya beth xoxo

Yes, two book reviews in one day. It is because I have read, but I haven't blogged. This other book is called, "Empty" by K.M. Walton. This book is very sad and depressing. If you are triggered by bullying and suicidal thoughts this isn't the book for you.

This book is a quick read I picked one day because the story was about a girl who wanted to disappear. Adele felt lonely and insecure. She is an overweight teen in high school that constantly gets bullied. She has to deal with hurt at school and hurt at home. Her dad isn't there for her and her mom pops pills. Her life ain't easy.

I'm not going to lie because this reviews are meant to speak my truth. This book was overwhelming. It was super sad. Although, it was quick, easy read, it didn't mean that it was easy to read. Adele was falling apart every single page. The deeper you get into the novel, the less fun I am having. I didn't know how sad it was going to be. However, I understood why the story was told. People HAVE TO stop bullying others. It doesn't help and it hurts. STOP.

It definitely wasn't my favorite book I've read, but I didn't dislike it. I do think that it was a little more sad then I would like, but it wasn't bad. The writing was good, the story was fine, but the overall feel was upsetting.

Because of the theme of this book I don't really have a favorite character or any quotes. I couldn't find any.

Hey guys today's book review comes from a book I finished about a month ago and just couldn't find the time to blog about it. I have been so busy with school coming up and moving into my new apartment. Plus my summer was jam packed with crazy events and memories I'll never forget <3
Anyway, back to the book. Today's book is called "Love, Rosie" by Cecelia Ahern. It is a very sweet book that I randomly picked up on a sale shelf in Barnes & Noble. I thought it looked interesting because the cover I saw was with the actors from the movie version. I heard of this movie, never seen it, but I liked both main actors. So I swiped it up and decided to read it before trying to watch the movie.

It takes place in Ireland and is about two people named Rosie and Alex. They are best friends and the whole book is based off their relationship. Basically, they are always missing opportunities to be a couple. Everyone sees it, but them and they go from 5 years old to mid 30s always missing the right moments. It is heart wrenching as a reader because you want them to get together, but they always miss it.

The other interesting part of this book is the format it is in. The whole book is in emails, letters, and IMs between all the characters. So, all the story is told through those forms of communications which I think is very unique. It makes it easy to read and really fun! I loved the new format, it is the first time I read a book like this.

I really loved this book. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. It was cute, fun, exciting, and even made me mad. The story had me pulled in and felt like I was living the story myself. You should definitely pick this up!!!

Favorite Character: This is difficult. Both main characters are fantastic. Rosie is sweet, kind, strong, and loyal. However, she is blind to love and things that are best for her. Then Alex is loyal, funny, cute, and more. However, he never decides what is best for him. I go back and forth on who I like best.

Favorite Quotes: " Life is hard, so what? It's hard for everyone isn't it? Anyone who says it's easy is a lair."

"Every small thing grows when you nurture it."

"You can run and run as fast and as far as you like but the truth is, whether you run, there you are."

"I've learned that home isn't a place, it's a feeling."

"What's so good about being 20? I call them the materialistic years. The years we get distracted by all the bullshit. Then we cop on when we hit our 30s and spend those years trying to make up for the 20s. But your 40s? Those years are for enjoying it."

"It's your life. If you want something, you need to get out there and grab it by the horns because no one is going to give you what you want on a plate."

New book review! This one is deep. If you are triggered by serious topics like sexual assault, suicide, etc. then this book may not be the one for you. However, if you love woman empowerment then it may be a good one for you! I love the strong, intensity that Amanda Lovelace uses in her book, "The Witch Doesn't Burn In This One." She goes deep into the mind and the social injustices of everyday life as a woman!

This book was pretty intense, I will not lie. It had poems that hit me in the feels, it also had poems that smacked me in the face. It was crazy to read. However, I loved every bit of it.

I don't know how else to explain it without giving anything away. It is a beautiful, tortured book of poetry about woman and the things they struggle with. Pick it up and practice self care while reading.

Here are some of my favorite poems from the book that left me jaw smacked.

This book review is brought to you by a lovely red head with a alcoholic themed show. Yep, you guessed it, this book is "I've Got This Round" by Mamrie Hart. Mamrie is a youtuber and comedian who does a show called you deserve a drink. She makes puns and drinks because she is one hilarious and 2 she loves to drink. Now she does it for a job!

I read Mamries first book that had me rolling from laughter. She talks about her mishaps and shenanigans of her and her friends. It is quite a crazy roller coaster. That is how book 2 is as well. It is full of more stories and tales of debauchery. It is quite fabulous.

The stories that she tells make me laugh, smile, empathize, and get down right envious! She gets to travel the world, drink, and attend the craziest shit. I truly wish I lived her life. For example, she talks about going to a murder mystery party cruise and I was like hold the phone, where do I sign up?!?! Also, she talks about doing very spontaneous things and I wish I would do that, but I guess I have to stay in school.

Overall, this book was funny all the way from the first to the last page. It was full of classic Mamrie puns and it left me wanting more. WOW WHAT A BOOK. It is hard to review because I don't want to give any spoilers away about any story. Therefore, you should definitely go and pick it up anywhere books are found. Also watch her new youtube show with Grace Helbig (another fav of mine) called This Might Get. It is quite the comedy show <3

Favorite quotes: "If there's anything that I've learned in my time on this planet, it's that there is nothing more sacred or more important than your female friendships."

"Some people think in a relationship that 'honesty is the best policy,' but I honestly think the best policy is 'a little lie can keep it fly'... never said that in my life, but consider it trademarked!"

"Go find reasons to say 'This is my life now.' I promise, it'll be worth it."

"Everybody needs to take those little moments when they come and not let them be tainted by the greater problems."

Book Nook

This book review is a good one guys. It is on the novel, "The Cellar" by Nastasha Preston. This book was ironically enough first published to Wattpad. If you don't know, Wattpad is a place where anyone who loves to write can create stories and post them for people to read. This book started off as a random girl writing a story that wanted to share her creation and now it has 22.5 million reads on Wattpad and a million copies sold. That is crazy, so keep writing my friends! I heard about this book a couple of times and shoved it to the side for years. However, my list of books I knew I wanted to buy was running out so next time I went to the bookstore I had to improvise.

I saw this book on the shelf and immediately recognized the cover and the title from word of mouth. I was now intrigued. I decided to get it based on the major buzz that it got over the years. As a book lover sometimes getting a book based off its hype can be dangerous because if you have crazy high expectation, it is possible you may be let down in the end. This book was not one of those.

This book is about a young woman named Summer who gets kidnapped and locked in a, you guessed it, a cellar. She is locked down there by a psycho with 3 other girls. It is told in 3 perspectives. The first one is Summer, the one who is actually kidnapped. She tries to survive and live within a world she doesn't quite understand. It is the journey of survival and the saving of one girl. The second one is the kidnapper, Clover. He believes that he is saving these women from corruption of the world and they can be a family. In his free time he also irradiates the women who aren't pure. I won't give to much away. The third is Lewis, Summer's boyfriend, who she thinks about constantly while she is stuck. I thought the use of three perspective gave the book so much more dimension to the story. From Summer, we got to know how she was dealing with her situation and everything that happened while Clover was gone. From Clover, we got to know his back story and find out why he does what he does and how he is getting away with his antics. From Lewis, we see the hope. We see the fight that Summers' family has in searching for their daughter.

It is such a different book for me. I never really read thrillers or scary novels, but I am so glad I did. This book was amazing. It hooked me from the first chapter. I couldn't put the book down and I couldn't help but cover my mouth and gasp at a lot of things that go on. It is a crazy concept that is actually quite possible. It really made me want to never walk alone ever again, which in certain situations isn't a good idea in the first place. It taught me to watch your surroundings, which is always something to keep in mind (especially my ladies reading this! PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!)

Overall, this book was fantastic. When I finished it made it even more shocking and great knowing that the author was just a girl on her laptop writing a good story on Wattpad. That is truly an amazing story and I can't wait to read another one of her novels. "The Cabin" is sitting on my bookshelf as we speak!

Favorite Character: I don't want to say Clover was my favorite character because he was totally crazy, but his backstory was so fascinating. I did really like the idea of his character because stories and crimes interest me. However, my favorite character was without a doubt, Summer. She went through so much within one story. She was strong and held her own while being kidnapped and when she got back she tried to find who she was again. In a situation like that, that completely changes you, it is hard to find who you were because you don't feel like that anymore. You become a new version of yourself and I could relate to that part of her character. I am so proud of her <3

Favorite Quotes: "That was something I never understood. Why were women so callous when it came to other women's happiness?"

Yayyyy, another book review coming your way. This one is "Buffering" by Hannah Hart. Hannah is a big youtuber known for her hit comedy show, My Drunk Kitchen. She drinks and tries to cook things, it is comedy gold. Also she has a cook book before her next book which is the one I will be talking about today.

Now I knew Hannah Hart through youtubers Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart. She would collaborate with them as the holy trinity youtuber and they are still to this day the best trio on the internet. I would see her in collabs with people I was subscribed to, like them, Tyler Oakley, Connor Franta, etc. I have been watching those people for years now and I have seen Hannah progress through those videos. I haven't had the chance to explore in depth her own channel, but what I see hit my curiosity button. I was strolling through Barnes and Noble and I saw her book Buffering. I knew she wrote a cook book previously, but I never read it cause I am not a cook. This was a good old book about her and I was totally intrigued. I bought it and now it is sitting on the shelf with all my youtuber books I have. I finally got around to it and boy is it good.

Like I said before I had never gone in depth into her or her channel, so reading her book was a eye opener. She has gone through hella shit and that was what was crazy. I never would have known this things by just seeing these funny, light-hearted videos that were popping up on my feed. Every story she told was a revelation into something deeper into who she was. The things that she had to deal with as a child was something I could never imagine and I give her major props. She turned her situation into progress and that is completely amazing. She grew from what her childhood gave her and made her life better. It was truly inspiring to read and put myself into her shoes through her stories.

This person I was reading about seemed completely different from the internet personality who cooks drunk on youtube. It was such a flip to what I saw of her in video form. It made me so happy that I decided to venture into this book and the stories she had to tell. She speaks for the ones who can't on mental illness, depression, anxiety, and more. She lets you know that the struggles you are going through are okay and that you aren't the only one. It is such a reassuring book with a moral at the end of each chapter. It made me sad, it made me angry, but it also made me happy. Now that I see her in 2018, even if it is only a small part, I can see how happy she is in her life right now. She has grown so much from that person she was in 2012-2016 and I couldn't be happier for her.

I have always been inspired by the trio that is Grace, Mamrie, and Hannah. However, I have a new found respect for them all and especially Hannah. They are some of my favorite comedians to this day. Please if you haven't go read "Buffering," it is beautiful. (you can also read grace and mamries books if you want- they are also a hoot!).

Favorite Quotes: "Buffering is that time you spend waiting for the pixels of your life to crystallize into a clearer picture; it's a time of reflection, a time of pause, a time for regaining your composure or readjusting your course. We all have a limited amount of mental and emotional bandwidth, and some of life's episodes take a long time to fully load."

"I've always been a big believer in sharing ideas. The magic is not in the "what" of the idea, it's in the "how." Because honestly, no one can steal your ability to come up with new thoughts."

"I try to remind myself daily that success and failure have less to do with actual results but rather how we choose to respond to the results. You can squander success and you can overcome failure. You can flourish or you can flounder. Sometimes it's about choosing which feelings to fight and which feelings to follow."

"Sometimes it's just easier to decide that someone is the bad guy. But the truth is never that simple."

"With our bodies we make statements before we speak, our presentation is language spoken without words. You - and only you - get to decide what it is you're trying to say."

"All or nothing. That's my thought spiral. You're in or you're out. You win or you die. Game of Thrones is the best. Etc., etc., etc." (GOT is the best... can't wait for season 8).

"It wasn't that Life had selected their family to suffer, but rather that in Life there is both Suffering and Joy."

"There is much in this world that hurts us, but if we let pain become our master, we live our lives as slaves."

YOU GUYS THIS BOOK I'M ABOUT TO REVIEW IS ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I HAVE EVER READ. It is probably in my top 5 or 10. It is "Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda" by Becky Albertalli. You guys have probably heard of the movie, "Love, Simon" and this was the book it was based off of.

I saw the trailer for the movie and I immediately was like, "I need to see this," so I wanted to read the book before I saw the movie, just because that is who I am. So I picked it up in the book store and I read that ish fast. The last half of the book made me stay up till 2 am to finish the entire book. The whole thing is such a funny, inspiring, loving story. If you don't know the story, it is about a boy named Simon who is a closeted gay kid at his school. He sees something on the internet about another gay boy at his school and he emails him. They go back and forth and in a way fall in love through the internet, but neither of them know the true identity of each other. IT IS SO GOOD!

This topic is so relveant in our society right now. We have to open the door to LGBTQ rights and give them things that straight people have all the time, a romance about them. I support all LGBTQ people and their stories. This book and movie will and is already helping so many people feel less lonely, special, and feel included. I really love this so much. I cannot wait to see the movie.

However, this post is about the book. The book is amazing, the characters are perfect, and the story is just written so beautifully. Not to mention it is FRIGGIN hilarious!! Also, just because this book has an LGTBQ protagonist, that doesn't mean other people who aren't like that cannot relate. There are some things in this book I totally related to even though I am not apart of the LGTBQ group.

Favorite Character: When you read this book you cannot fall in love with Simon, it'll just happen. I also have a weird connection to Leah, because her personality reminds me of myself. For example, she is sassy and sarcastic, which are basically my two descriptors of myself. However, Simon is someone that I wanna be best friends with and know in my real life right now.

Favorite Quotes: "I hate listening to stuff through the speakers of my phone, but music is always better than no music."

"I take a sip of my beer, and it's- I mean, it's just astonishing disgusting. I don't think I was expecting it to taste like ice cream, but holy fucking hell. People lie and get fake IDs and sneak into bars, and for this? I honestly think I'd rather make out with Bieber. The Dog. Or Justin."

"Do you ever feel locked into yourself? I'm not sure if I'm making sense here. I guess what I mean is that sometimes it seems like everyone knows who I am except me."

"I'm just so sick of straight people who can't get their shit together."

"White shouldn't be the default any more than straight should be the default. There shouldn't even be a default."

THESE ARE SO IMPORTANT! LOVE YOURSELF AND LOVE EACH OTHER <3

XOXOXOXOXO

You guys this next book had me in my feelings. It is a poem book with 4 parts by none other Rupi Kaur. It is called, "The Sun and Her Flowers" and it made me feel so many emotions.

I read her first poem book and that was good, but this one man. Some of these poems LITERALLY hit me so hard I closed the book and thought about it for like 20 minutes. I couldn't stop reading them over and over again. I was praising her for writing such honest and beautifully raw words. I am sure it wasn't easy to write what she did. I couldn't imagine re experiencing these emotions while she was writing, it is tragic and beautiful and amazing. I am in awe at how honest these got. I know her first book was similar in style with 4 different parts that represent a time in her life and how she felt, BUT DAMN! Rupi came out with a better poem book that literally took my breath away.

I am sorry, but you have to read this book. It is too pure and honest for you not to read it. I aspire to be as brave and write as beautifully as her, honestly.

I felt like I needed to share some of my favorite poems from the book because they are too good.. so continue reading :)

Here are some of my favorites I couldn't resist sharing! Sorry some of them are hard to read (Try zoom).
