Yes, two book reviews in one day. It is because I have read, but I haven't blogged. This other book is called, "Empty" by K.M. Walton. This book is very sad and depressing. If you are triggered by bullying and suicidal thoughts this isn't the book for you.

This book is a quick read I picked one day because the story was about a girl who wanted to disappear. Adele felt lonely and insecure. She is an overweight teen in high school that constantly gets bullied. She has to deal with hurt at school and hurt at home. Her dad isn't there for her and her mom pops pills. Her life ain't easy.

I'm not going to lie because this reviews are meant to speak my truth. This book was overwhelming. It was super sad. Although, it was quick, easy read, it didn't mean that it was easy to read. Adele was falling apart every single page. The deeper you get into the novel, the less fun I am having. I didn't know how sad it was going to be. However, I understood why the story was told. People HAVE TO stop bullying others. It doesn't help and it hurts. STOP.

It definitely wasn't my favorite book I've read, but I didn't dislike it. I do think that it was a little more sad then I would like, but it wasn't bad. The writing was good, the story was fine, but the overall feel was upsetting.

Because of the theme of this book I don't really have a favorite character or any quotes. I couldn't find any.

Hey guys today's book review comes from a book I finished about a month ago and just couldn't find the time to blog about it. I have been so busy with school coming up and moving into my new apartment. Plus my summer was jam packed with crazy events and memories I'll never forget <3
Anyway, back to the book. Today's book is called "Love, Rosie" by Cecelia Ahern. It is a very sweet book that I randomly picked up on a sale shelf in Barnes & Noble. I thought it looked interesting because the cover I saw was with the actors from the movie version. I heard of this movie, never seen it, but I liked both main actors. So I swiped it up and decided to read it before trying to watch the movie.

It takes place in Ireland and is about two people named Rosie and Alex. They are best friends and the whole book is based off their relationship. Basically, they are always missing opportunities to be a couple. Everyone sees it, but them and they go from 5 years old to mid 30s always missing the right moments. It is heart wrenching as a reader because you want them to get together, but they always miss it.

The other interesting part of this book is the format it is in. The whole book is in emails, letters, and IMs between all the characters. So, all the story is told through those forms of communications which I think is very unique. It makes it easy to read and really fun! I loved the new format, it is the first time I read a book like this.

I really loved this book. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. It was cute, fun, exciting, and even made me mad. The story had me pulled in and felt like I was living the story myself. You should definitely pick this up!!!

Favorite Character: This is difficult. Both main characters are fantastic. Rosie is sweet, kind, strong, and loyal. However, she is blind to love and things that are best for her. Then Alex is loyal, funny, cute, and more. However, he never decides what is best for him. I go back and forth on who I like best.
