New book review! This one is deep. If you are triggered by serious topics like sexual assault, suicide, etc. then this book may not be the one for you. However, if you love woman empowerment then it may be a good one for you! I love the strong, intensity that Amanda Lovelace uses in her book, "The Witch Doesn't Burn In This One." She goes deep into the mind and the social injustices of everyday life as a woman!

This book was pretty intense, I will not lie. It had poems that hit me in the feels, it also had poems that smacked me in the face. It was crazy to read. However, I loved every bit of it.

I don't know how else to explain it without giving anything away. It is a beautiful, tortured book of poetry about woman and the things they struggle with. Pick it up and practice self care while reading.
