Turn the Page!

If you are looking for a good laugh you have come to the right place! This book had me NON STOP cracking a smile. It is "You Deserve A Drink" by youtube star Mamrie Hart. She has a show on YouTube actually called you deserve a drink and it's all about honoring someone with a special cocktail. She loves to drink and so in the book every chapter has a cocktail you can make that relates to that specific story. I thought it was super clever and very very cool because it suits her personality so well! Also, each chapter is a random embarrassing story about herself which I admire because some things are REALLT embarrassing that I would never share with my best friend let alone MILLIONS and MILLIONS of readers. She's got Ballz (as she says many times in her novel haha). But seriously if you want a non serious, jokster book go buy this and you will have no regrets.

Mamrie hart is one of the funniest humans to walk to planet. Her videos and Collabs with other youtubers crack me up everytime. In fact one of my favorite videos of all time is of her and Tyler Oakley doing to Edward forty hands challenge. Anyway, back to the book. It's genius. It's different, comical, amazing, and honest. It's a great read for anyone who needs an ego boost haha.

My favorite story she probably told was when her and her friends took a trip to vegas to see Brittany Spears and thye had a terrible car driver. It was quite hilarious. However, i also liked the story when her and her friend met 2 swinger couples that was also a good one to tell. Although, i have favorites each story was a hoot, let me tell ya!

Favorite quotes: "The most i struggled in college was when the Papa John's delivery guy would forget the garlic sauce"

"I can tell you every word to No Doubt's "Just a Girl" even though i havent listened to it in a good six years, but ask me to count to ten in french and it aint happening."

"Sometimes youve got to dig a little deeper to see where a person is coming from."

"We are always growing up. Im growing up as i type this. An eighty-seven-year-old woman is till technically growing up. So be as immature as you want. Right now, you are the youngest you are ever gonna be."

"With the mayhem of everyday life, sometimes its nice to be the only kid awake in the world."
